Natural histroy museum!

Hello! I'm Alice(Jinhee Kwon). I'm tourism student!!
I went to Natural histroy museum in london this week.
Weather was not good. It was cloudy and rainy... like a who said it was English weather!!haha
The Natural History Museum is one of three large museums on South Kensington.





When I saw the museum, I was shocked because museum was very big!! and we don't need to pay for it!





When I entered the museum, I could see dinosaur's skeletons! first picture of dinosaur was biggest dinosaur's skeleton that I 've seen.



How big inside!!
This Museum divided 4 parts of area. Orange zone, Blue zone, Green zone and Red zone!!
In Orange zone, we can see Qttenborough Studio, wildlife garden, zoology spirit building!
In Blue zone, Dinosaurs, Fishes, Amphiblans and Peptiles, Human biology, images of mature, jerwood gallery, marine invertebrates, mannals.
In Green zone giant sequioa, tree primates, birds creepy crawlies, investigate centre, minerals, our place in evolution, the vault, waterhouse gallery.
In Red zone earth lab, earth today and tomorrow, earth's treasury, from the beginning, lasting impressions, the power within, restless surface.





He is Charles Robert Darwin who established that all species of life have descended over time from common ancestry, and proposed the scientific theory that this branching pattern of evolution resulted from a process that he called natural selection.






Look at these monkeys! Do you believe that humanbeing is developed from monkey??
If you ask me a same question, well...I need to say first time, I don't have a religion.
I'm not sure about that but humanbeing had a tailbone~
and who knows the true?? haha






These pictures are Giant sequoia. It was very big!!! It is the sole living species in the genus Sequoiadendron, and one of three species of coniferous trees known as redwoods. The common use of the name "sequoia" generally refers to Sequoiadendron, which occurs naturally only in groves on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California.





This is gemstone of crystal!! It was very pretty!! So I bought gemstone of crystal magnet! hihi 




These are all kind of jewel or gemstone! I wanted get... cause I'm a woman!!
When I am get married, I want to get diamond ring!!!





This picture is Aurora Pyramid of Hope! This stunning array of 296 natually coloured diamonds has taken more than 25 years to collect. It shows the full range of colors in which diamonds can be found. Under ultraviolet light you can see another hidden quality. The diamonds glow, showing colors quite different from the ones you see in normal light. It's very interesting!!

Do you know what is the T.rex??
This is Tyrannosaurus. According to internet, rex meaning "king" in Latin. It lived throughout what is now western North America, with a much wider range than other tyrannosaurids. Fossils are found in a variety of rock formation.



This picture is seve months after fertilisation. According to explanation board, this is a model, eight times lifesize of a baby living in its mother's uterus. If you go here, the sound you can hear is the pumping of the mother's heart, which was recorded inside the uterus of a pregnat mother.




Real size whale!!!!!!!! Wow...
 I was shocked..!!
I didn't know that whale is big!
wow...
I couldn't believe!!




This is studio for children to study!



Real fossil... I fed up of fassil!!!!!!!! :( I saw too many of them in one day.





This is Ichthyosaur's fossil. This pregnat female dontains six unborn young: their skulls are outlined in red.



This picture is archaeopteryx.
Archaeopteryx is the first bird!!

I like to visit this museum! ah! we got museum map for free from our guide!
He said, "actually, we sell this map for 1pound! but I will give you for free!! "
After museum tour, we had a time to look around the Hyde park!




This is The Albert memorial was built in memory of Queen Victoria's husband.
James recomended us to watch the move"Young Queen Victoria"(??)





And this is The Royal ALbert Hall ! It was modelled on Roman amphitheatres!
I wanted to go inside, we didn't have time to go inside!!
So I will go there oneday before I go back to Korea.
